My biography
Born in Lausanne in 1968, Nathalie Perler is a painter based in Montreux. Although drawn to art from a young age, her dream of attending the École des Beaux-Arts never came to fruition. Her career thus began with a commercial training course, followed by a career in the stock market sector of a private bank in Zurich.
At 24, Nathalie decided to take a gap year, which took her to Colombia, South America. What was supposed to be a simple break became a turning point when she had a near-death experience (NDE) in the Caribbean. This transformative experience prompted her to extend her stay for five years, during which time she collaborated on the development of an eco-lodge in the rainforest and immersed herself in the teachings of local cultures, particularly those of the Kogi Indians. In the heart of nature, she discovered the fundamental importance of returning to oneself and self-healing.
Back in Switzerland, Nathalie continued her personal quest through various training courses: traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, energy harmonization, and painting by feeling. In 1999, she discovered oil painting, a revelation that led her to open a studio in 2003 where she teaches painting by feeling, while also practicing as a therapist.
Faced with Ménière's syndrome, Nathalie is forced to reconsider her career choices. This ordeal ultimately becomes an opportunity to fully devote herself to her passion for painting. A training at an art school allows her to perfect her technique and develop her unique style.
Recognized for her work in abstract realism, Nathalie creates vibrant and transformative pieces that bridge the gap between reality and imagination. Her art, a seamless fusion of realism and abstraction, draws deeply on feelings and translates the emotions and energies captured throughout her career. Oil painting has become her preferred medium, which she enriches with various techniques to transform her canvases into true visual sanctuaries.
Each work offers a unique emotional experience, inviting the viewer to contemplate the world not as it is, but as it could be: vibrant with beauty, grace, and hope. His work encourages everyone to discover their inner strength and view their own journey with optimism.
Looking ahead, Nathalie aspires to create works that offer comfort and encouragement, with the goal of inspiring collectors around the world. Her future work will continue to serve as a beacon of light and positivity, reminding all who encounter it that there is always a path to joy, and that magic remains within reach.
Today, Nathalie continues her artistic journey while guiding those who wish to reconnect with themselves through her paintings and her teaching.

Artistic approach
As an abstract realist artist, my art is an introspective journey to the heart of being to celebrate the transformative magic that resides within each of us. This force allows us to evolve and grow, to triumph in the face of adversity. Each work embodies the possibility of achieving hope and fulfillment through perseverance and faith in our dreams, thus becoming a call to joy and the realization of our deepest aspirations. Through a dialogue between realism and dreamlike abstraction, I create vibrant and transformative works. Like constellations of stars, my paintings weave links between our tangible reality and the realms of imagination, creating a harmonious fusion where the inner light of each being can shine.
For me, art is love in motion!
My creative process begins with apparent chaos, which gradually becomes harmonized, reflecting life's journey—seemingly disordered but ultimately coherent. This transformation of the canvas echoes our own inner journey, where every experience, however tumultuous, helps reveal our true nature.
My vision is to create visual sanctuaries where viewers from around the world can come to recharge and find their inner strength. My work is recognized for its ability to make others feel they are not alone, offering glimmers of hope in the apparent chaos of life. Each painting thus becomes a promise of better days and a reminder of our connection to the pure source within us.
